I'm still waiting on my chairs that were ordered 4/28/20 and supposedly shipped 5/4/20. I have tried numerous times to contact WM to no avail. They say to use chat online but there is never anyone available. Very frustrating since they have already charged me and I have already paid for them because I don't carry a balance on my card. WM seems to be struggling, at this time. Where is management? Extremely disappointed!
I regret ever purchasing from this company. I purchased a daybed, received a schedule delivery date and no one ever showed up. two weeks after the scheduled delivery dated they said they attempted to delivery but was unsuccessful so they returned it back to the warehouse. I called customer service for a refund on a bed I have paid for and they cannotgive me a refund. It has been nearly 2 months and I still do not have my nearly $600 I pay for a day bed. Every time I call I get a different answer this is so ridiculous. I purchased this bed in June.

I needed some ingredients for dishes that I can't get locally and they sent them to me very quickly and for a good price. I can't speak to the customer service issues others seem to be having as I didn't have any problems with my order, but my shopping experience here was good.
Nice store, but their managers need to focus on their job more and keep their politics out of the store. Will shopping at a World Market a few months back, I could clearly hear a couple of Managers loudly trashing LEOs. I was on the opposite side of the store from them, but could hear them as though I was right next to them and they went on for 5mins. It was disgusting thing for them to do while on the floor. I commented to a sales person about it, but they probably all had a good laugh about it after I left.
Ordered a full length mirror. Received the half-sized one. Contacted WM, was told they were out of stock and sent me a return label unprompted and initiated a refund. Asked how much the mirror I received cost, because depending on the price I might keep it instead. They resent the same email. Emailed again, asking the same question. Received the same email. This happened multiple times. Called. Customer service rep. was very rude, uninterested in the story, and unapologetic. Finally agreed I could just be refunded the difference and keep the mirror. Couldn't use the 30% off I'd originally used on the mirror I didn't get since I 'already used the coupon'. So I ended up paying full price for the mirror I didn't order because they couldn't fulfill the order I used the coupon on. Makes sense! At this point, just said ok, hung up, etc.
Then I was waiting for a nearly $500 daybed. Delivery scheduled, delivery company called to tell me the box was damaged but the bed was fine. Called back to tell me actually, the bed is not fine. They'd get a new one and reschedule delivery. 3 weeks later after checking the status regularly, decided to check in since it still said 'waiting for carrier'. They emailed back saying - surprise! - the bed is out of stock. Here's a refund! Obviously at this point I flipped out. Told them I don't want a refund, I want the bed. They emailed me back...about...the mirror. I emailed back asking them to read the email I sent them this time before continuing to waste my time. Now they email me a repeat of the same email from the first time. I tell them they need to find the bed at a store, then, and ship it to me from the store. They finally tell me the bed is out of stock in all the stores - which is hilarious, because I was at my local store about three weeks ago and they had it, so I'm sooo glad they waited until *I* suggested a solution on their behalf, and now it's too late! It's almost as if they could have resolved this on their own weeks ago, if only I had been working for them and instructing them on how to resolve problems! They then tell me they 'called me multiple times today but the phone rang busy' which is factually untrue based on: I had my phone in my hand all day as I spent most of my day EMAILING THEM. My phone did not ring. I have no missed calls, as proven by the call log I sent them a screenshot of. I have no voicemails. And do cell phones even ring busy??? I wasn't even on the phone today! How would it ring busy??
So basically, I ordered furniture over a month ago, and two of the main items I ordered are out of stock and WM does not have a single soul in their office who can read, comprehend, and respond to emails, nor do they know how to actually find a solution to anything besides 'sending a refund'. Do note, on my order status log it STILL shows that the bed is 'awaiting carrier pickup'.
For context, I had an issue with WALMART getting me a mattress once, and they fixed it in literally ONE DAY. For emphasis, *WAL MART*. I also had an issue with Target twice. Both times the issue was resolved with ONE EMAIL. The SAME DAY. I have 15 emails from WM customer care dating back from 3/31 through today, and nothing has been resolved beyond just like...refunding me for what they decided not to send me after I paid for it...which is just legally what they have to do.
Fraudulent!!! They were only concerned in taking more and more money from me which should have indicated their insincere motives. This organization is fraudulent. However I am happy i did not let them get away as i got help from solut10nsreport.com who were really helpful and instrumental to the complete recovery of my money from them.
Okay I love this place and the most of the products... I always get my delivery on time as they say and I never had a problem with returning, refunds, exchanges... the one thing that is bad is whoever they have packaging the deliveries... all my packages had no bubble wrap and everything was thrown together... in every box I ever ordered I had something broken.
That's a loss when you have someone who does care about doing their job right! But I never had any issues with customer service on the phone. I've gone into the store but had better luck ordering online in finding the products I want. In the photo below is a flimsy box which was heavy bcuz they put everything in there without any bubble wrap to secure from shifting. So I ended up with scratched up pan and a broken marble lazy Susan.
Two orders were deemed "lost in transit." That information took one month to get and another month to process a refund.This is the gang that couldn't shoot straight when it comes to online, NEVER order anything from them - you will live to regret it.
They used a cheap ass delivery company lost 2 of the 3 pieces of my furniture. Contacted world market they shipped one of the 2 remaining pieces fed ex. It's been over a month waiting. Never will I buy again
I only had trouble with this company from ordering cancelling delivery and in the end the package was not delivered and you have to wait 7 days before they start looking for package or refund Money!!!!
I love everything about World Market. My home is World Market on fleek!! More to come...
Problems with online orders, problems with in store pick up, problems with being overcharged - and no one at the store, or the 877 number, or the online chat had any interest in helping sort them out. There are too many other stores with comparable products and MUCH better customer service to waste time here
I went in there the other day. Yipee 20% almost everything. Not exclusions apply.
I was told i could not use the coupon. I put in my phone number and i did not get any rewards for spending $120?
I ordered bathroom items (bath mats and shower curtain) online. The items came within expected delivery window in two shipments.
I've read a lot of bad reviews after I placed my order online. So, I wanted to leave a positive review. The items I ordered were perfect and came in a timely manner.
